About the Role:

Data Engineer (SAP Digital) will use a combination of SAP Data Intelligence, SAP PI/PO, SAP BODS, SAP CPI and SAP HANA, along with a range of open- source technologies such as Python and will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise DATA solutions. The candidate will work closely with Enterprise Architects, Middleware Engineers, Functional Consultants and Application teams to design and deliver DATA platform and solutions using products such as SAP Data Intelligence.

Experience: (2 to 10+ years)

Primary:

ETL, API and Data integration knowledge with any leading tools (Informatica, SSIS, Websphere)
Good programming skills in Python and knowledge in machine learning algorithms

Secondary:

Candidate with minimum 2 years IT experience with at least 1 year of experience in SAP related DATA projects using one or more of the following tools.
SAP Data Intelligence, SAP BODS, SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO and SAP HANA
At least 2+ years of software development experience in open-source programme using Java, React JS, Node JS, and Angular JS frameworks.
Analyses, designs, develops and tests process flows in support of multiple business projects using integration technologies. Hands on experience working with business users and Solution Architects to determine integration requirements, develop and test interfaces.
Experience in the configuration of adapters connecting to various on premise and cloud systems
Experience with CI/CD process using tools like GitHub and Jenkins.

Nice to have:

Experience working in and administering SAP Data Intelligence Environment.
Experience with Groovy or JAVA Scripting.
Some working experience in SAP HANA Vora.
Should have the awareness on the tools as SLT, SDA, Openhub, etc.
Experience with one or more Hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Hands-on experience with database migrations, standardization, and automation.
Having experience with Data Science Machine Learning such as Tensor Flow and SAP Leonardo is a strong plus.
Working understanding of security standards such as SAML, XACML, MASSL, and OATH.
WSSE and technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST)
Developer/Architect certification(s) strongly preferred.
Experience in setting up Keystore, generating SSL certificates and SSH Tokens.
Experience in working within Big Data concepts.

A logical approach to problem solving and willingness to take responsibility and have a pragmatic, goal-oriented approach.
Self-starting and can work pro-actively within a larger team.
Strong interest in learning and developing with emerging technologies demonstrated through self-initiated projects.
Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions.
